Terms of Use

Please read these terms carefully before accessing, downloading, or using Flare Software, A8SDT, plugins, or associated services.

Important Notice

By purchasing, downloading, installing, activating, or using any software, plugin, digital preset, asset, or web platform provided by Flare Studios (“Flare”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, as well as our Purchase Terms, Refund Policy, and Software License Agreement.

1. Agreement & Overview

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you (whether individually or on behalf of an enterprise entity) and Flare Studios regarding your access to and use of our desktop software (including A8SDT 2026), plugins, motion design assets, presets, templates, cloud synchronization services, and websites.

If you do not agree with all of these terms, you are explicitly prohibited from downloading, installing, or using our software and services, and you must immediately cease all use and uninstall any installed copies.

2. Eligibility & Account Security

You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to purchase licenses or enter into binding agreements. When registering an account or activating licenses, you agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, license keys, and hardware activation tokens. You agree to notify Flare Studios immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

3. Software, Tools & Services

Flare Studios grants you access to GPU-accelerated multimedia software, animation tools, and digital creative resources. All software is delivered digitally via electronic download links and authenticated through license keys.

Purchases of software and digital assets grant a license to use the product as described in our Software License Agreement. A purchase does not transfer title, ownership, or source code.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, deciphering, or attempting to derive the source code of A8SDT, plugins, or any proprietary components.
  • Bypassing, cracking, or tampering with licensing mechanisms, hardware token verification, DRM, or seat limits.
  • Redistributing, sublicensing, leasing, renting, sharing, or hosting unauthorized download mirrors of our installers, license keys, or asset packs.
  • Using our software or infrastructure to generate, distribute, or render malicious code, defamatory material, or unlawful content.
  • Automating unauthorized mass data collection, scraping, or load-testing against our API and licensing endpoints.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All title, trademarks, brand marks, software engines, shaders, UI architectures, logos, visual assets, documentation, and underlying code are the exclusive intellectual property of Flare Studios and its licensors, protected by international copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.

Nothing in these Terms or during your purchase shall be construed as conferring any right, title, or interest in Flare intellectual property beyond the express, revocable license granted under the Software License Agreement.

6. User Content & Generated Assets

You retain 100% full ownership, copyright, and distribution rights to all creative works, video renders, motion graphics, animations, and artwork created or exported by you using A8SDT and Flare plugins.

Flare Studios claims zero royalties or ownership over your output files, render sequences, or final project deliverables created with properly licensed software.

7. Third-Party Integrations & Host Applications

Certain Flare plugins and scripts interface with third-party host software (such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Blender). Flare Studios is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Adobe Inc., Blackmagic Design, or the Blender Foundation.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Except where prohibited by mandatory consumer law, all software and digital tools are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Flare Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, production downtime, hardware incompatibility, or business interruption arising out of the use or inability to use our software.

9. Termination & Modifications

Flare Studios reserves the right to suspend or terminate your license and access to services immediately, without prior notice, in the event of a material breach of these Terms, unauthorized redistribution, software piracy, or fraudulent payment.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our software or website following the posting of revised terms indicates your acceptance.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of our software shall first be submitted to good-faith informal negotiation through our support desk before initiating formal proceedings.
