Official Policy Document

Privacy Policy

We believe in privacy-first creative software. This policy explains what minimal data we collect, how it is secured, and your rights.

Privacy Commitment

Flare Studios does not sell your personal data. We collect only what is strictly necessary to fulfill your orders, activate software licenses, provide GPU engine updates, and prevent software piracy.

1. Overview & Data Controller

Flare Studios operates as the data controller responsible for your personal information when you use our website, download our software products (including A8SDT 2026), purchase licenses, or interact with our support desk.

By accessing our store, creating an account, or activating software, you acknowledge the collection and processing of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect and process the following categories of data:

  • Account & Contact Details: Email address, customer name, billing country, and communication preferences provided during checkout or support requests.
  • Transaction Metadata: Order timestamps, purchased product SKUs, total amounts, invoice IDs, and discount codes. (We never store full credit card numbers).
  • Support Communications: Emails, crash log attachments, GPU system reports, and diagnostic descriptions submitted to our support team.
  • Application Diagnostics: Opt-in anonymized performance metrics (e.g., render pass times, GPU crash stack traces, OS build number) to improve software stability.

3. License Activation & Machine Fingerprinting

To authenticate your license seat and enforce machine limits (e.g., 2 machines per perpetual license), the desktop application generates an irreversible cryptographic hash of your system hardware identifiers (such as motherboard UUID or GPU device string).

This cryptographic token cannot be used to reconstruct your personal files, identity, or browsing history. It is used exclusively to verify that the active installation corresponds to a legitimate purchased license.

4. Payment Processing & Stripe

All financial transactions are handled directly through certified third-party payment gateways, including Stripe, Inc., which adheres to PCI-DSS Level 1 certification (the highest industry security standard).

Your payment card details are transmitted encrypted directly to the payment processor. Flare Studios never accesses, processes, or stores your primary account numbers (PAN) or security codes (CVV/CVC).

5. How We Use Your Information

We process personal data for the following lawful purposes:

  • Generating and delivering license keys, receipts, and secure software download URLs.
  • Enforcing license seat compliance and facilitating machine transfers.
  • Providing technical assistance, troubleshooting GPU driver incompatibilities, and resolving customer inquiries.
  • Delivering critical product updates, critical security patches, and version notifications.
  • Preventing payment fraud, chargeback abuse, and unauthorized redistribution.

6. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for advertising purposes. We share data only with verified infrastructure providers who assist in our operations:

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Supabase and Vercel for database management and secure API routing.
  • Payment Processing: Stripe for checkout fulfillment, automated invoicing, and tax calculation.
  • Email Delivery: Transactional email services to deliver download links and license keys.

7. Security & Data Retention

We implement strict technical and organizational measures, including TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access control, and periodic vulnerability audits.

We retain your purchase and license records for as long as your license remains valid, and as required to satisfy accounting, tax, and legal compliance obligations.

8. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR, CCPA & Local Laws)

Depending on your location, you may have statutory rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:

  • Request access to copies of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request rectification of inaccurate or outdated information.
  • Request the deletion or anonymization of your personal data (subject to legal retention duties).
  • Object to or restrict the processing of your data.
  • Data portability of your purchase history and account details.

To exercise any of these rights, email us directly at flarestudiomex@gmail.com.

9. Cookies & Telemetry

Our web platform uses essential cookies and local storage only to maintain your session state, shopping cart contents, and language preferences. We do not employ third-party cross-site advertising trackers.
